Cheesy Baked Green Beans

Perfect for the holidays or whenever you’re craving a comforting veggie dish, this cheesy green bean bake combines tender green beans with a creamy, garlic-infused sauce. Topped with mozzarella and Parmesan for a golden, bubbly finish, it’s a cozy side that’ll have everyone coming back for seconds!


Ingredients

28 oz Earthbound Farm Organic Green Beans

1 pint heavy cream

2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, adjust to taste)

Zest of ½ lemon

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese


Directions

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

In a baking dish, combine the green beans, heavy cream, sliced garlic, red pepper flakes, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Toss until the green beans are well coated. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the green beans are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with shredded Parmesan cheese. Place back in the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the Parmesan melts slightly.
